Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSIT) - Information Technology Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2023 Abstract: Nowadays, knowing that technologies have shaped educational advancement the way humans act today, the developer of a web-based student-faculty portal for Masoli High School is presented. It addresses the problems and limitations that now exist with manual enrollment, class scheduling, grading, and document requests. It aims to recognize the current obstacles and develop and execute an all-encompassing web-based resolution. To assess the system's functionality, the study used black box testing, which includes user acceptance testing, stress testing, and security testing. After conducting a comprehensive examination, the researcher found out the problems and difficulties in manual procedures, which led to the development of an online student-faculty portal. That focuses on grading systems, document requests, class scheduling, and enrollment. The information obtained through questionnaires and interviews was used by the researchers during development to build an online platform that provides a better substitute for the existing manual and paper-based procedures. To make sure it worked, the system was tested through a black box testing process. With an arithmetic mean of 0.94, the User Acceptance Testing findings demonstrated a high degree of functionality and broad satisfaction among administrators, teachers, students, and IT experts. A total weighted mean of I for the stress test likewise produced positive results, demonstrating the system's resilience to different circumstances. Furthermore, security testing revealed a weighted mean of 1, emphasizing how secure the system is to operate. The system received an overall functionality rating of 0.97 and is responsive and accessible from a variety of devices.
