This study presents an overview about the teaching styles used in Nabua Central Pilot School. It utilizes Anthony Grasha's Five (5) Main Teaching Styles which are; Expert, Formal Authority, Personal Model, Facilitator, and Delegator Teaching Styles. In addition, it also discusses the opportunities and challenges that intermediate teachers encounter during the delivery of their instructions. This study utilizes multi-methodology, which includes survey questionnaires, and interviews with the teachers who teach English language. Sixteen (16) English teachers took part in the study. The findings revealed that the Expert teaching style with a mean score of 4.48 is the most commonly used by the teachers among the Five Main Teaching Styles. The researchers found out several opportunities and challenges that the teachers encounter during the delivery of instruction, among the opportunities are the integration and adaptation of technology, differentiated instruction catering the pupils' need, integration of various teaching styles and utilization of available and different technological resources while the student's lack of proficiency in English language is the main challenge that the respondents faced during discussion. The study results are relevant in terms of identifying the teaching styles used by the teachers; finding out the teaching styles used during the intermediate stage will contribute in the teacher's teaching pedagogy that can help the student achieve great language skills.
