Dissertation note: Undergraduate Thesis (BSOA)- Office Administration. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2025. Abstract: This study assessed the hybrid document management practices for paper waste reduction among administrative employees of a State College. It aimed to describe the respondents’ profiles, determine the extent of hybrid practices in terms of preferences, regulatory requirements, and security concerns, identify challenges in reducing paper waste, and propose an action plan to enhance the hybrid document management. Using a quantitative-descriptive research design, data were collected from 36 administrative personnel through a validated Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, chi-square. Results revealed that employees regularly practiced hybrid documentation, combining printed and digital formats for efficiency and compliance. Despite the growing use of digital tools, employees still maintained printed copies as backups due to concerns about cybersecurity and data loss. Significant differences were found in sex and educational attainment, while key challenges included resistance to change and limited digital infrastructure. Based on the findings, the researchers proposed an action plan focusing on digital literacy training, infrastructure enhancement, secure cloud systems, and standardized hybrid document policies. The study concludes that strengthening hybrid document management can promote operational efficiency, sustainability, and paper waste reduction within administrative offices.
