Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSN) - Nursing. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024. Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has imposed unprecedented challenges on nursing education, significantly affecting clinical training experiences. This phenomenological study explores the lived experiences of level IV nursing students at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges amidst the pandemic. Through qualitative interviews and thematic analysis, the research aims to uncover the nuanced perspectives, coping mechanisms, and transformative learning processes within the context of constrained clinical placements. By elucidating the intricacies of students' experiences, this study contributes to understanding the broader implications of the pandemic on nursing education and offers insights into enhancing support mechanisms and educational strategies for nursing students facing similar challenges. This study wants to explore possible techniques and interventions that help improve their emotional resilience and general mental health and contribute to the improvement of nursing education programs by fostering not just competent but also emotionally resilient healthcare workers who are better prepared to offer compassionate and effective patient care. The study utilized a phenomenological type of research approach as the design of the study with semi-structured interview guide and mechanical recording as the main instrument to gather data. 10 student nurses from BSN level 4 were purposely chosen to take part in the qualitative investigation .The participants responded to the questions verbally and recorded them. Further, this study explores the strategies employed by Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges and clinical facilities to adapt to the evolving demands of nursing education during the pandemic. It examined the effectiveness of virtual simulations, and alternative clinical placements in providing students with meaningful learning opportunities while ensuring their safety. Furthermore, the role of mentorship, peer support, and institutional policies in promoting resilience and professional growth among student nurses is investigated. Through a comprehensive analysis of these factors, this research aimed to offer practical recommendations for optimizing clinical education delivery in the context of ongoing public health challenges.
