Dissertation note: Undergraduate Thesis (BSOA)- Office Administration Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024. Abstract: This study aims to identify factors affecting academic performance and coping strategies to improve the academic performance of BSOA students at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Buhi Campus. The study explores various factors, including academic, personal, socio-economic, and environmental factors. It also provides coping strategies and enhancement program to improve academic performance of BSOA students. A quantitative research method was employed; the researchers the researchers used a survey questionnaire as their research instruments for this study. The findings of this study indicate that several factors significantly impacted the students' academic performance, such as poor internet connectivity during online classes, insufficient sleep, lack of financial support, distraction caused by extreme heat during face-to-face classes, and class suspension due to heavy rain. The poor internet connectivity during online classes is greatly affected the academic performance of BSOA students among these factors. The demographic profile, identified factors, and coping strategies of the respondents are significantly affected their academic performance, and the identified coping strategies are often used to improve the academic performance of BSOA students. Based on the results, the researchers recommend enhancement program to improve the academic performance of BSOA students in CSPC Buhi Campus. Student enhancement program at the end of the semester will assess students' academic performance improvement.
