Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BPED) - Physical Education Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024 Abstract: The study investigates into the intricate dynamics of students' engagement, examining the variance in levels between the interaction to physical and online interaction set-up in a state college. Using quantitative method, it provides an insight into the frequency and depth of engagement in both the physical and online environment, the researchers conducted data gathering through an online survey questionnaire. The collected data showed the demographic profile of the respondents where 18-21, majority are first-year student was more leading, discovering that students may be active in learning through physical set-up rather than online learning, indicating that not all of the students are engaging with the two modes of interaction and only few of them were interacting. This suggests for an intervention where students are given opportunities to be more interactive and connect with their fellow students, with the help of customized projects that tailor holistic development for students in physical and online mode of engagement. Integrating interactions within the educational frameworks can optimize learning outcome, necessitating curriculum design and training support for effective application. Implementation of these recommendations can create inclusive learning environment that allows collaborations and active participations, benefiting students across diverse social interaction needs.
