The Records Management Practices is a vital role of employees that leads them to have proper handling of records in an organization or institution. This paper tries to assess the records management practices by the employees in Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Buhi Campus in terms of records creation, records maintenance, records retrieval and records disposition in an institution. Thirteen of employees include the admin staff and librarian, who were systematically chosen, served as the respondents. The descriptive method was used to attain the objectives. The instruments used in this study was a research made survey questionnaire for data collection and was interpreted using weighted mean. The result showed that the employees have effective records management practices in terms of records creation, records maintenance, records retrieval, and records disposition. Furthermore, they are handling records properly in the institution extremely effective. However, the employees were lacking records supervisor and have improper indexes on keeping a record and was rated as seldom encountered. Moreover, the capacity to respond to the problems encountered by employees was seldom encountered.
