The present study investigated the library performance and the user needs in terms of library services as well as the difference between the library performance and user needs among College of Health Science 1st year students of SY 2021-2022. The researchers distributed the questionnaires using 20% of the population selected as respondents through a random sampling method. The researchers used the theory of performance to describe user performance and human motivation to determine the level of user needs of patrons. This study used the descriptive-correlational method of research. Researchers made used google forms as an essential data collection tool. The findings reveal that the respondents were 'satisfied' with the library performance under the reference's reader services with the given indicator 'I utilized both print and non-print materials' ranked 1 with the highest average weighted mean of 5.52. In a library, the user needs rank number (1) 'do you want the library to upgrade the internet connection for faster internet speed' with the average weighted mean of 3.566. As the result revealed that all of the required information was when the library upgrades the internet connection for faster internet speed the library. The study concluded that the majority of respondents wanted to upgrade the internet services that the library offered, for faster internet surfing. Then, it helps the students to easily and fastest to find electronic resources that came from a reliable website without internet interruption, the library can maintain a fast connection, and meet the needs of their users.
