520 3# - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study evaluated the electrical energy consumption and voltage unbalance in Academic Building IV at CSPC's College of Computer Studies. Using a quantitative approach, real-time data were collected over one week with a clamp meter to measure current, voltage, and power factor. The results revealed a weekly consumption of 3740.9 kWh with peak usage at 11:00 am on weekdays and significantly lower usage during weekends. Air conditioning units (Meters 5, 8, and 11) were identified as the primary contributors to energy consumption, while lighting and convenience outlets consumed minimal power. Load analysis showed some panels nearing capacity limits, necessitating careful load distribution. Voltage unbalance was also observed, primarily due to uneven single-phase load distribution. Recommendations include proper sizing of air conditioning units, implementation of advanced metering systems, energy conservation measures, and strategic load management to enhance system efficiency and prevent overloading.
