This study aims to determine how the students in Bachelor of Science in Office Administration program assess the computer operations proficiency. The respondents of this study were the first-fourth-year students of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, Main Campus. The respondents included 270 students from first to fourth year enrolled in the first semester of the school year 2024-2025. The researchers utilized the descriptive survey method as the main gathering tool together with percentage technique, weighted mean and average, four-point Thurstone scale of four-point Likert scale, T-test, and Chi square. Data was gathered through the use of Google form questionnaires and face-to-face surveys. Findings revealed that most of the respondents were 19-21 years old, predominantly female and relied on mobile devices for computer tasks. Students demonstrated "extreme familiarity" with basic applications like computer keyboard, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation. Intermediate skills showed proficiency in tools like Email clients, Microsoft Publishers, and Graphic Design software, while advanced skills like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Anti-virus software were moderately familiar but indicated the need for improvement. There was a significant relationship between proficiency levels and challenges encountered, particularly in intermediate and advanced skills, with p-values less than 0.5. These findings indicate that while students possess solid basic and intermediate skills, there is a need to improve advanced proficiency levels. The proposed intervention program aimed to enhance the proficiency level in computer applications of BSOA students, which is increasingly important in today's digital world.
