This study determined the English Phonological Awareness of MTB- MLE learners across school sizes in public schools in the Philippines. The researchers employed three questions, (1) What is the level of awareness of the learners in phonological skills along initial phoneme, final phoneme, and deletion tasks, (2) Is there a significant difference in the level of awareness of the learners across school sizes?, and (3) What are the factors affecting English phonological awareness of the learners?. This used mixed method and utilized researcher-made questionnaire. ANOVA was employed to evaluate if there is a significant difference in the level of awareness across school sizes. To answer the third objective, an interview was conducted as it was used for data triangulation. Results showed that Grade 3 learners in small school have difficulty understanding the phonological areas, in contrast to the big and medium school. It is also revealed that there is a significant difference in the level of phonological awareness across school sizes. Moreover, the factors affecting English phonological awareness of the learners are learning level, teachers' competency, curriculum content, instructional materials, alphabet knowledge, parents' literacy and involvement, learning environment, absenteeism, communication skills, learners' behavior, usage of technology/ gadgets, and health concerns.
