520 3 _aThis study was conducted to address the stress levels and coping mechanisms among Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) students. The study aimed to mitigate the negative impact on their academic performance, mental health, and overall well-being. It is aligned with Sustainable Development Goa (SDG 3 & 4) and the Philippine Mental Health Act (RA 11036), which emphasizes its importance on mental health and quality education. Therefore, the researchers used a descriptive research design that employed the survey questionnaire to gather data from 251 randomly selected BSOA students from 2nd to 4th year at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. Thus, the questionnaire assessed demographic factors such as stress levels that the respondents experience along with academic workload, time pressure/deadlines, financial difficulties, peer pressure, and health issues as well as coping mechanisms. The data were analyzed by using the percentage techniques, weighted means, and chi-square tests. Out of the results, it shows that female respondents (86.85%) aged 19-21, with a family monthly income below 10,000, were experiencing stress. The most common coping mechanisms were talking to friends/family, engaging in spiritual activities, and watching movies/listening to music. Thus, statistical analysis revealed that there was no significant relationship between the demographic profile in terms of age, sex, year level, and monthly income and stress levels, suggesting that stress has become an issue for students. Therefore, the findings indicate that promoting enhanced stress management and mental health support mitigates stress and improves the well-being and academic success of BSOA students. Additionally, it is recommended that BSOA students who experienced a stressor should employ various coping strategies, such as emotion-focused approaches, to manage their stressors.
