The research aims to determine the extent of student participation and leadership roles in PASOA activities over the past three years, identify factors influencing engagement, and assess the perceived impact on students' academic achievement and professional preparedness. A descriptive research approach was employed, utilizing a quantitative research methodology. Data was collected from 170 officially enrolled 2nd to 4th-year BSOA students at CSPC during the first semester of the academic year 2025-2026 through a self-developed questionnaire. Statistical tools such as Percentage Technique, Slovin's Formula, Weighted Mean, 4-Point Likert Scale, and Spearman Rho (Non-Parametric Test) were used for data analysis. Findings reveal that students frequently engage in PASOA activities, particularly formal academic and ceremonial events, with a measured level of leadership involvement primarily when roles are assigned. Motivation to improve skills, peer influence, and institutional support significantly affect participation. Importantly, student engagement has a strong positive relationship with perceived impacts in academic performances and professional preparedness, Recommendations focus on designing inclusive, flexible, and career-oriented programs to foster active participation, leadership immersion, and holistic career readiness. The study underscores PASOA’s pivotal role in supporting academic achievement and nurturing leadership capabilities among Office Administration students at CSPC. | |
