520 3 _aThis study investigated the time management practices of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration students at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. Time Management was for crucial for office administration students to succeed in their demanding program. The study aimed to identify the time management practices and the specific challenges the students faced in managing their time as they navigate the complexities of personal, academic, and social responsibilities. The research utilized the Time Management Matrix Theory by Stephen Covey (2022), emphasizing the importance of categorizing task into four quadrants based on urgency and importance. A review related literature emphasized the clear understanding of time management practices of students. The researchers employed a descriptive approach, surveying 259 second year to fourth year BSOA students using Slovin's formula. Data was gathered through questionnaire. The statistical tool like weighted mean and percentage techniques were used to analyze the responses, revealing the main time management barriers faced by the students. Findings revealed that majority of BSOA respondents belonged to the age bracket of 18-24 years old, were female and were second-year students. The time management practices of BSOA students included prioritization, scheduling, and goal setting. However, the study identified barriers that affected effective time management, including social media distractions and challenges in implementing time management practices. The researcher found that those students who implemented structured time management practices experienced lower stress levels and enhanced personal, academic and social performance. Based on the findings, the researchers proposed an action plan implementing specialized time management training programs, such as workshops, organizing study groups for students and conducting seminars on time blocking techniques to help students achieved a balance between personal, academic, and social aspects.
