520 3 _aThe LIS Laboratory in the College of Computer Studies faces challenges in securing valuable equipment and displaying data due to the traditional manual locking system. Is sues such as lost or duplicate keys, unauthorized access, and inefficient manual operations compromise security and disrupt productivity. In addition, manual unlocking and monitor ing of doors affects the functioning of teachers and students. To address these problems, this study developed SecuriTech, a modernized door lock system that enhances access con trol and security of the laboratory. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, which emphasizes iterative development and user collaboration. A mixed-method approach com bining quantitative and qualitative research was used. Purposive and convenience sampling were used to select respondents. Unit testing verified the functionality of individual com ponents of the RFID module, ultrasonic sensor, and alarm system, while black box testing ensured the overall functionality of the system. Integration Testing proved the seamless in teraction between hardware and software components, while Stress Testing demonstrated stability under different workloads. Security testing evaluated protection against unautho rized access. The results show that SecuriTech is fully functional, achieving a performance rating of 0.97. Unit testing confirmed the reliability of the module, and stress testing veri f ied the stability of the workload without errors. Security Testing achieved a security rating of 1.00, ensuring robust protection. The system is expected to modernize laboratory ac cess, improve attendance tracking, and enhance the user experience, offering a significant advancement in educational laboratory management and serving as a model for innovative and secure access control solutions in educational institutions.
