520 3 _aA motorized coconut-splitting machine resulted from this work to improve processing efficiency and safety requirements. Operations involving manual splitting are marked by risk, extended processing time, and high manual labor requirements. The machine was fitted with a worm reducer, feeding system, splitting blade, and safety elements, designed to improve safety and reduce manual labor requirements. The machine was optimized after testing and design, making it more efficient, and having the capacity to process up to 1,140 coconuts per hour. Increased levels of production, decreased labor requirements, and harmonization with current agricultural standards render it a competent and modern option for the coconut industry.
