Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 50 proficient weavering through interview and survey questionnaires using weighted mean. Results reveal that the most weavers are middle-aged or older women, primarily elementary or high school graduates, earning a monthly income of ₱5,000-₱10,000 depending on their production capacity. Despite owning their workshops and equipment, the weavers encounter challenges such as limited financial resources and difficulty sourcing materials. Traditionally weaving skills are at risk of decline due to modern influences, prompting the need for strategies to sustain the hinabol craft. Recommendation include organizing an annual Inabes Festival to celebrate the craft and raise awareness, introducing weaving training programs to teach new techniques and designs, leveraging online platforms for wider market opportunities through partnerships, modernizing designs, and emphasizing the eco-friendly and cultural value of Inabeg are also identified as vital steps toward ensuring its long-term sustainability and growth. | |
