| 520 | _aThis study arrived to determine the impact of early parenthood on academic performance of student-parents in Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Buhi Campus in terms of time,family, financial and academic performance. Challenges in the academic performance of Students-parents help students-parent deal with these challenges and improve academic performance. The respondents of this study were 20 student-parents who are officially enrolled in Camarines Polytechnic Colleges Buhi Campus. In conducting the study, the researchers made use of the descriptive- correlation method to determined the profile of the respondents and the challenges encountered by student-parents in terms of time, family, financial and academic performance. The conclusions of this study were identified that: The challenges encountered by student-parents in terms of time were interpreted sometimes encountered. Moreover, the challenges encountered by the respondents in terms of family were generally assessed as sometimes encountered. Furthermore, the challenges encountered by the respondents in terms of financial was interpreted as sometimes encountered. Finally, the challenges encountered by the respondents in terms of academic performance were generally assessed as rarely encountered. As an output of the study, recommendations wre proposed to improve the academic performance of the respondents. | ||
