| 538 | 3 | _aCapstone projects have become a crucial part of a student's education in the modern world, laying the foundation for further learning. It gives the capacity to retain the information student learned during college studies and use it when pursuing a certian academic path in college. Paper-based solutions lack flexibility in handling evaluations, are less effective at gathering data, and are challenging to access when communicating information about capstone project. Students were unable to obtain assessments that they required to make changes as a result, which delayed the encoding of grades. In general, the objective is to develop a system that were automate the process of capstone project and thesis class information with deliverables monitoring, participation rating, oral examination scheduling, oral examination rating, and honorarium computation. To address the objectives of the study, the researcher used a mixed-method research design and an extreme programming model. The study respondents were the capstone subject adviser, thesis subject adviser, panelist, and capstone students of the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. The data was obtained using interviews, and surveys, and the data was evaluated using weighted mean and percentage. The research findings indicate that there are problems with manually rating the paper of students, having trouble creating reports, and sharing the data. Thus, the overall interpretation revealed that the suggested system is moderately acceptable to the respondents. As a result, the developed system capstone project and thesis class information management system (CASTCIMS) still needs further development for improvement. | |
