| 520 | 3 | _aThis study aims to determine the Effect of Work From Home Arrangement on Employees of the Public Sector. It seeks to answer the following questions: (I) Profile of the respondents, (II) Willingness to work from home, (III) Difficulties encountered during work from home. The conclusion drawn from are (I) Majority of the respondents were thirty-seven to forty (37-40) years old, (II) the willingness of working from home has forty percent (40%) of the respondents, favorable. (III) the difficulties encountered dueling work from home arrangement. In terms of profile, three (3) or 10 percent of the respondents are 25-28 years old; eight (8) or 16.67 percent of the respondents are 29-32 years old; twelve or 40 percent of the respondents are 37-40 years old; two (2) or 6.66 percent of the respondents are 41-44 years old. As evidently shown, majority of the respondents are within the age range of 37-40 years old. In terms of the organization were the respondents belong, which is equally distributed among the different government agencies, national and local. To mention, Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education and Local Government Unit of Buhi, Camarines Sur. The willingness of the employees on the public sector. The weighted mean of all the respondents were computed the impact of the work from home arrangement. 40.00 percent of the employees are willing to work from their home, ranked 1, eight (8) respondents agreed that they high favorable, while stated that, 13.33 % are not favorable of the new set-up of working arrangement. The difficulties encountered of the employees of the public sector during the work from home which shown in the table. First in the rank is collaborating with colleges, with a weighted mean of 4.15 and interpreted as favorable. Second in the rank, is not going to office work with the weighted mean of 4.03 and verbally interpreted as favorable. Third in the rank is accessing tools and information (I need to do my job) with the weighted mean of 3.58 and verbally interpreted as favorable. Fourth in the rank is staying motivated with the weighted mean of 3.68 and verbally interpreted as favorable. Eight of last in the rank is too many distractions at home with the weighted mean of 2.63 and verbally interpreted as neutral. | |
