This study aimed to determine the solid waste disposal practices by stall occupants in wet market of Buhi, Camarines Sur (1) The solid waste generated by stall occupants in terms of meat waste, fruits and vegetables, sea foods, foods, and merchandize wastes. (2) Solid waste disposal practices of stall occupants in wet market in Buhi, Camarines Sur in terms of methods waste disposal, place where you disposed your garbage, what are the techniques you implemented and what kind of waste usually encounter. (3) Awareness of the respondents, proper waste disposal practices in terms of Biodegradable and Non-biodegradable. (4) The program of LGU. Major findings includes: (1) five of the 25 percent or 14.29% had declared that their waste consisted of "teeth and balahibo ng baboy at baka", the waste generated in fish or sea foods stall were intestine, scale, jaws, and grills which all of the were five or 100% each, while five or 100% waste that is being generated in vegetables and fruits stalls, majority of the waste generated in food stall compose of five or 50% is plastic bags, and 100% are plastics and boxes waste generated in merchandize stall. (2) The top findings in methods of waste disposal is segregation of biodegradable and non-biodegradable with sixteen responses 64%, place where you dispose your garbage rank 1 is backyard, in the sanitizing area of disposal and majority of the respondents which are ranked 1st or thirteen respondents were covering the area with soil, majority of the techniques implemented is collecting without segregation with 12 respondents or 48% , mostly kind of waste do usually encountered with 10 or 40% is plastics. (3) Awareness of the respondents on proper waste disposal for, a) biodegradable assessed weighted was 1.68 and interpreted as partially aware, (b) non-biodegradable, recyclable and dispose ecologically assessed weighted was also 1.68 as interpreted as partially aware. (4) The program of LGU Buhi assessed weighted was 1.78 interpreted as partially aware.
