This study aims to determine the comparison of traditional and online flexible learning from the students' perspective. Specifically, it contains the stress level they are encountering in each two learning modalities. The stress levels are demonstrated by rating the two modes of learning from not stressful to strongly stressful. The total of 30 respondents in Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Buhi Campus serves as the respondents of this study. Checklist questionnaires were used to gathered data for the said study. The questionnaires are distributed by the researchers through goggle forms to determine which learning modalities are stressful. Quantitative research method was applied to achieve study's objective. In addition, the respondents examined the results of the stressors in each learning modalities. As the gathered data shown, the stressor of online learning are the internet connection, lack of gadgets used, etc. And for the traditional learning, stressors are the pressure in the family, the expenses for transportation, etc. Many conclusions were formed including that there are students who see traditional mode of learning as more stressful than flexible mode of learning, while some see flexible mode of learning as more stressful. Different perspective depending on how they see the situation. Researchers have series of recommendation to address the said problem for the students, parents, relatives, professors, institutions, and the government to lessen the stress encountering in the two modes of learning. The research results can help practitioners and educators better understand student's situation in studying whether online or traditional learning, better understanding and taking action about the said problem will help students to reduce the stress level in the traditional as well as in the flexible online learning.
