Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSEE) - Electrical Engineering. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2022. Abstract: One of the global problems that affect everyone and all living things is garbage, this is harming human health and local environments while adding to the climate challenge. As we move forward to a more digitalized future. there is a rapid increase of waste produced day by day as a result of urbanization and industrialization. This rapid increase and mismanagement of waste have become uncontrollable and difficult to manage. The study was visualized to make an Automatic Trash Bin Segregator with Compactor. It focused on the design, and testing of the performance of the device in terms of response- time. sensitivity, and garbage level detection. A number of trials have been conducted to test the performance of the device. Descriptive and developmental methods are used to gather the relevant data that is utilized to fabricate the device. The device consists of Arduino and sensors such as ultrasonic, inductive, capacitive, and photoelectric. The device is powered by a 1HP motor and uses a Linear actuator to compact trash.
