The capstone project proposed the design of a 100-bed district hospital in Rinconada, with the proposed site at San Vicente Gorong-gorong, Nabua, Camarines Sur. The study determined the demographic profile of the nearby locality in terms of age, sex, civil status, monthly income, employment status, and health needs. It also determined the present condition of the proposed site in terms of area, topography, and accessibility. The study designed a public healthcare facility in terms of architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing plan, the cost estimate was also determined. The data gathering procedure included site inspection, interview, and survey questionnaire. The design process included the use of NSCP, NBCP, NPCP, PEC, and Batas Pambansa Blg. 344 and DOH Guidelines and Criteria for Planning, Design, Construction, and Maintenance of Public Hospitals. The visual representation of the district hospital with the use of software tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro., RCDC, and SketchUp (2021). The researchers' extensive study revealed a predominantly young, female, and single population with low incomes and high unemployment. Health needs focused on child and maternal health, indicating a preference for outpatient services. San Vicente Gorong-Gorong Nabua's evaluation highlighted its suitability for a district hospital due to its elevated terrain and strategic location. The proposed healthcare facility's design, supported by AutoCAD, STAAD pro, and RCDC applications, ensures a cost-effective approach. The study emphasizes preventive care, affordable services, and a suitable site meeting safety and accessibility criteria. The proposed district hospital design aligns with standards, ensuring structural integrity, with a projected cost of seventy-three million two hundred eighty-three thousand eight hundred eighty- eight pesos covering all aspects for successful project execution. Recommendations include flexibility in demographic focus, evaluating infrastructure resilience, and prioritizing key elements in diverse fields. Also, for future research include inflation validation, eco- friendly materials, and strategies for long-term sustainability and maintenance.
