One of the global initiatives of United Nation as embodied in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) aimed to ensure a universal access to sustainable, dependable, and modern energy services by the year of 2030. Renewable hydropower energy could provide sustainable, dependable, and affordable source of electricity. The study was carried out to determine potential sites in Buhi, Camarines Sur for hydropower plant development. The study identified water resources such as Itbog Falls in Sta. Cruz, Libtong Falls in Monte Calvario, Binangkaan Falls in Igbac, and Busay Falls in Divino Rostro. Topography of the potential sites was assessed based on water flow, head of the water, discharge, and power capacity was computed. The result of the study identified Itbog Falls and Libtong falls was suitable and met the criteria for hydropower plant development. Itbog Falls in Brgy. Sta. Cruz had computed head of 4.3586 m, the water flow was 2.154 m³/s, the discharge was 1.8387 m³/s, and with a power capacity of 66.826 kW while Libtong Falls in Brgy. Monte Calvario, measured head was 3.7795 m, flow of the water was 1.724 m³/s, the determined discharge was 1.4656 m³/s and with a power capacity of 46.188 kW. The researchers found out that the water of Busay Falls were seasonal. Binangkaan Falls were excluded based on factors including accessibility by vehicle and security for the safety of the researchers. The study was able to developed topographic of the potential sites in Buhi, Camarines Sur.
