This study focuses on assessing and addressing the deteriorating conditions of the San Miguel-San Jose Road in Nabua, Camarines Sur, Philippines, particularly targeting defects in both road pavement and drainage systems. Employing a Descriptive- Documentary approach, researchers conducted on-site inspections to meticulously document existing issues. The assessment revealed significant structural defects in the concrete pavement, including potholes, cracks, scaling, and depression, alongside drainage problems such as clogging and vegetation overgrowth. To rectify these issues, the study proposes a range of corrective measures, including demolition and reconstruction of damaged sections, surface repairs, and clearing of drainage channels. Emphasis is placed on utilizing appropriate materials and techniques to ensure durability and sustainability. A detailed cost estimation for the proposed measures is provided, totaling approximately 966,076 pesos, covering material, labor, and equipment expenses.
