Undergraduate Thesis (BSOA)- Office Administration Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024.
This study investigates the challenges faced by Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) graduates from Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), Buhi Campus, in the context of their Legal and Medical Office Procedures coursework. Recognizing the crucial role of these skills in the modern workplace, the study aims to: 1) identify the profile of the graduates, including their age, gender, and academic performance; 2) determine the specific challenges encountered in areas such as office communication, telephone calls, client scheduling, records management, financial reporting, and legal document handling; and 3) develope a comprehensive guidebook to address these challenges and enhance the learning experience for future BSOA students. The study employs a descriptive research design with purposive sampling, utilizing a questionnaire and in-depth observations to collect data. The findings will be analyzed using relative frequency percentage distribution and presented in tabular form. The theoretical framework is grounded in Donald Super's Career Development Theory and David Kolb's Experiental Learning Theory, providing a framework for understanding the challenges faced by individuals in their career development. The study aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, better preparing future BSOA graduates for successful careers in the dynamic fields of law and medicine.
