Dissertation note: Undergraduate Thesis (BHS) - Human Services Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2025 Abstract: This research study was conducted to determine the overall well-being of student aides at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. The participants consisted of 6 student aides who were working in different offices. The researcher utilized the descriptive method and utilized an in-depth interview in this study by using purposive sampling. Findings showed in terms of the demographic profile of the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges student aides: the majority of the participants are females. The overall well-being status of the student aide participants who are experiencing work-study balance challenges, experiencing work-academic conflict, and learning struggles from exhaustion. In workload and time challenges, they experience the physical strain and time demands and workload management issues. The positive impact in terms of financial growth they experience is financial motivation and confidence; in personal growth, they feel the sense of fulfillment and accomplishment, skill development opportunity. In negative impact, the overwork or physical exhaustion, the productivity challenges, and the academic performance struggles. It also discusses the coping mechanisms of the participants in adaptive self-regulation in which they discuss that one of their coping mechanisms is time management, balance, responsibility, and strategic scheduling and communication. In physical self-care, their rest and recovery, prioritizing sleep, and their recreational and social coping by engaging in leisure and social activities. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the well-being of student aides, with the factors and contributing factors that support the academic success and well-being.
