Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSCE) - Civil Engineering. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024. Abstract: This study proposed to develop a Green Housing Project for the Indigenous People at Sitio Ilian, San Nicolas, Iriga City. Indigenous people continue to be one of the most underprivileged populations in the country, they deal with issues that have been significant challenges, such as generally poor housing conditions. Particularly, this study determined the common housing types, floor areas, and amenities of the existing Socialized Housing Project in the Rinconada Area. Two models were developed: Model A with a loft intended for larger families, and Model B, a studio type, intended for smaller families. The Site Development Plan shows the covering area and the lengths of the boundaries of the site. The Architectural Plan shows exterior and interior perspectives, floor plans, elevations, as well as door and window details. The Structural Plan shows the standard footings, columns, beams, trusses, and roof framing plans of the housing projects. The Plumbing Plan shows the plumbing layout of each housing unit, along with septic tank and catch basin details. The Electrical Plan shows the lighting and power layout of each model. The Green Technology shows a wide range of innovations and practices for an eco-friendly approach. The researchers recommend looking for more available green technologies with an eco- friendlier approach that can be incorporated into the housing project. Furthermore, the development of detailed designs for additional facilities for Indigenous People, such as a tribal hall, clinic, and community garden, is highly recommended.
