Abstract: This study aims to determine the Records Management Skills of the selected Barangay Secretaries in the Municipality of Buhi, Camarines Sur. The major findings, 8 or majority of the respondents belong to the age of 31-40 years old. As to civil status, majority of the respondents are married. On educational attainment, most of the barangay secretaries were college undergraduate 9 or 45% of the respondents. On eligibilities most of the respondents, take Career Service Sub-Professional. As to the number of length of service, range from 7-9 years with 9 or 45% are appointed in their barangay. The records management skills possessed by the respondents with the average weighted mean of 3.36 is interpreted as highly skilled. It implies that barangay secretaries are efficient enough in records management. On problems encountered by the barangay secretaries in the relation to their skills possessed which are all verbally interpreted as occasionally encountered. The records management skills possessed by barangay secretaries got a verbal interpretation of highly skilled. This shows that the respondents are had the knowledge to their job positions. On the problem encountered by the barangay secretaries, it is verbally interpreted as occasionally encountered. The recommendation, the barangay secretaries should attend quarterly seminars and workshops to ensure that they are prepared to deal with challenges for further knowledge seminars, workshops, and skill development for barangay secretaries are intended to provide additional information and knowledge in their job role.
