The impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the academic performance of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration students in Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Buhi Campus / Vic Jerome B. Bolima, Cecille O. Libardo, and Christine F. Ramizares.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the Impact of Covid-19 on the Academic Performance of the first year Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Buhi Campus. Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions. 1) To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of A) Personal 1) Age 2) Sex 3) Civil Status 4) Components use on Online Learning B) Economic 1) Occupation of the parent 2) Monthly Family Income. 2) What are the academic performance of the respondents. 1) General Weight Average 3) What are the factors affecting the academic performance of the students. 4) What plan of activities can be proposed to the respondents in order to improve the academic performance of the students during the pandemic. The methodology used was Descriptive Research Method. The conclusion was drawn from the study 1) The thirty (30) respondents of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration in CSPC Buhi Campus personal profile are majority or 53.33 percent of the first year belong to the 19-20 years old, which they belong to the young group and majority of them are female. In economic profile majority of the occupation pf their father are laborer while most of the mothers are housekeepers and the monthly family income of them are below 10,000 pesos. 2) The academic performance of the respondents obtaining a grade ranging from 1.99-1.75, which the students managed to pass their academic subject and performance well in their class. 3) The personal, social. and environmental factors, encountered by the respondents that affect the academic performance during this pandemic are generally moderately affected. It concludes that the distance learning has less impact to the academic performance of the students. 4) The purpose recommendation to know and better understand the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the Academic Performance of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration students are provided.
