The Scope of this project was to design and simulate a coconut shell and husk shredding machine, focused in creating coco peat and coco fiber with 3 HP as the primary mover which will be accomplished by using CAD applications, namely SolidWorks. The design will have three phases in the shredding process, composed of - crushing blades in the initial stage, screw conveyor in the second, and hammer mills in the final stage.
The project will be composed of several related studies, Engineering books and related literature which will further support the study. The design will be made accordingly and with strict consideration to the standards of design.
The design will be generated, in a 3D manner, with supporting Calculation that will prove its effectiveness in terms of proper sizing and dimensions, further calculation together with supporting studies will be shown that will further prove the effective of the machine in terms of operational speed, operational safety, and operational requirement of the proposed machine.
