In this chapter we have considered the importance of concluding lessons in a way which motivates both teachers and learners to reflect on what learning has taken place. Concluding the lesson need not to be poor relation to other aspects of planning; it should not be a rushed, often absent, part of our planning. It is, in fact, a summary, and evaluation and a bridge and should be treated with the respect it deserves.
