<subfield code="a">Proper hygiene among school-aged children remains a critical public health concern, particularly as their developing immune systems make them more susceptible to infectious diseases and other concerning health problems. This truly highlights why instilling proper hygiene practices in their formative years becomes important. Not only it keeps them from being sick, but it also will develop habits that can benefit them throughout their lives. This study aimed to identify the hygienic practices of intermediate level pupils of Buhi Southeast Central School (BSCS). The study's scope is limited to Grades 4, 5, and 6 of BSCS and was selected using simple random sampling and the sample size was computed using Slovin's formula. Quantitative research was employed, specifically descriptive- correlational method. Based on the findings of the study, it was revealed that out of 143 respondents, the majority are male, roman catholic, grade 4 pupils, mostly 10-11 years of age, with both employed parents having at least high school education, and belong to nuclear families. The frequency of the hygiene practices among the intermediate-level pupils of BSCS is generally maintained, and the majority of the respondents consistently follow good hygienic practices, yet there is still more room for enhancement in certain areas. For the factors the pupils agree that social and personal factors moderately affect their hygienic practices. There is a significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and the hygienic practices of intermediate-level pupils of BSCS in terms of age, father's educational attainment, mother's educational attainment and father's employment status. In conclusion, this study highlights the hygienic practices of intermediate level pupils of Buhi Southeast Central School.</subfield>
