This study investigates the utilization and challenges pertaining to the engagement of students with library resources as perceived by Bachelor of Science in Office Administration students at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. A quantitative descriptive- correlational design was used to collect data from 140 second-to-fourth-year students through a structured questionnaire in this light. The present study estimated the perceived adequacy and utilization of library resources for general education, business and management, office administration, and elective courses, and determined the challenges encountered. These results demonstrated that the respondents generally agreed that the resources were adequate, with an overall mean of 3.165, while they strongly agreed that the resources were well utilized, with an overall mean of 3.32. The highest utilization is expressed in the elective courses. Respondents believed that the major challenges pertain to the outdatedness of printed copies, unsuitability to program needs, and access issues in electronic databases. Pearson's correlation shows adequacy of resources and utilization to be moderately positive at r = 0.4644, which means better availability of resources, and higher utilization could be expected. While students in this discussion are found actively using the library resources, it is persistent problems with currency, specificity, and digital access that stand in the way of optimizing engagement. Updating the collections, expanding the digital literacy training, and course integration are highly recommended for better engagement of students and academic support.
