This study focused on identifying the challenges that Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) students experience during their Student Internship Program, specifically on human relations skills, communication skills, technical skills, and records management. There were 114 respondents from the academic year 2023-2024. The data were gathered through a quantitative descriptive research method. The majority of the respondents were aged 18-24, female, single, and relied on books and smartphones as their primary learning tools. The study revealed that students encountered slight challenges across the identified areas during their internships, with some gaps observed in their training and preparedness. Based on the findings, an action plan was proposed to address those challenges. The plan incorporates several things, including workshops with students on interpersonal and communication skills, mentorship where the student is guided to execute technical tasks, and hands-on record management activities. A further recommendation is in terms of integrating those activities in the pre- internship preparation to better equip them with skills and confidence the moment they step into those roles. The study indicates that continued skill development is a very important factor within internships to ensure a smooth transition for students to take their positions in the labor market. The program will try to address these gaps, thereby producing highly competent and competitive graduates in their fields of choice, to prepare students both academically and professionally for employment.
