This paper examines the accessibility and the difficulties of the elderly people in getting the SPISC pension in the remote barangays in Nabua, Camarines Sur. The Philippines government has programs to support the older citizens financially, such as the SPISC, particularly on those with no source of income. But still a lot of seniors in the rural areas cannot receive their pension. The key issues highlighted were that of non-availability of transport, distance of travel, health, and no access to water or even snacks by the senior citizens waiting in the center. Elderly people have to face financial insecurity and health issues as a result of these challenges. The researcher interviewed the elderly people in the barangay of Inapatan, La Purisima, San Roque Sagumay and Tandaay and Malawag. The purpose of this Study is to know how these challenges impact the day to day lives of seniors and how these concerns can be addressed to enhance delivering of pensions. This research will help the government and Local Government Units (LGU) be informed about effective policies and services since it will tell specific facts about the obstacles seniors in remote barangays experience. The Findings can generate solutions and make sure that every senior citizen gets easy access to his or her SPISC pension.
