<subfield code="a">This Study entitled, Challenges Experienced by The Significant Others of Patients Under Tuberculosis Control Program in Baao Camarines Sur aims to assess and evaluate the different challenges faced by the Significant others of TB patients in Buluang, Baao, Camarines Sur and how they cope up with those problems. Tuberculosis has been one of the most common diseases in a community setting and most of the times, significant others of those patients experience difficulties that may delay the healing process of the patients. Survey questionnaire served as the main tool for data gathering. Interview was also used as one of the instruments in data collection. The study utilized descriptive correlational research method and has a total of 50 respondents. Several statistical tools were employed to accurately quantify the response of the respondents such as percentage technique and Chi-Squared Test of Independence. Results showed that majority of the respondents are female, single, belong to low-income family class with a family income of ₱12,030 to ₱24,060 per month; while mostly are 21-30 y/o, parent, and college graduate. Additionally, according to the findings in terms of the different challenges faced by the significant others regarding different aspects, respondents often experienced socioeconomic challenges whereas the physical, psycho-emotional, and social challenges are seldomly experienced by the respondents. In terms of the strategies to cope up with challenges experienced by the significant others, seven out of the fifteen coping mechanisms indicated had always been in used by the significant others as coping strategies for a particular problem. Lastly, it has shown that there is no significant relationship between the challenges and strategies to cope up with challenges experienced by the significant others and coping strategies implied by the significant others. A community extension program is proposed by the College of Health Sciences at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges to address the challenges faced by the significant other of those patients under the Tuberculosis Control Program.</subfield>
