The study determined the competencies of the nursing students of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges in their Related Learning Experiences. A descriptive method was used in this study and the survey that was conducted with the aid of questionnaire was utilized and distributed to a total of 103 level IV nursing students who served as the data source. The data were analyzed using the percentage technique, weighted mean, and chi-square test.

The results revealed that among 103 respondents, 83 are female and 20 are male, this shows that majority of the respondents are female, ranging the age within 22-25 years old and mostly is Roman Catholic. When it comes to the means of transportation, most respondents use jeepney with a daily allowance of 100-200 pesos.

The results further revealed that the level IV nursing students are competent in Related Learning Experience particularly in Community Health Nursing in terms of knowledge, skills, attitude and communication. Additionally, they are moderately affected by the factors affecting their competency level such as cognitive skills, technical skills and interpersonal skills. The profiles of sex, age, religion, means of transportation, and daily allowance does not have any significant impact to the competencies of the nursing students of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges in their Related Learning Experiences particularly in Community Health Nursing. The proposed plan has the potential to enhance the level of competencies of the nursing students of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges in their Related Learning Experiences particularly in Community Health Nursing.
