This study investigates the relationship between Instructor's Qualifications and Teaching Experience and the Academic Performance of Electrical Engineering Students at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research gathered data from fourth-year students and their former instructors through academic records, surveys, and institutional documents. Key instructor variables assessed included highest educational attainment, professional licensure, and years of teaching experience. The findings revealed a statistically significant relationship between instructors' years of experience and students' academic performance, with experienced instructors associated with better learning outcomes. While advanced degrees and licensure showed varied effects, instructors with subject-aligned qualifications, particularly in Electrical Engineering, positively influenced student achievement. The results underscore the importance of hiring and retaining qualified and experienced instructors, and they highlight the role of professional development in enhancing instructional quality. These insights offer valuable implications for academic policy, curriculum development, and institutional hiring practices aimed at improving student success in engineering education.
