This research explores health promotion strategies among hospital personnel in the Rinconada area to diminish risk factors associated with metabolic syndrome. Using a descriptive-inferential research design and simple random sampling, the study surveyed 279 hospital personnel, examining demographic characteristics, metabolic risk factors, and barriers to effective health promotion. Findings reveal that younger professionals, predominantly female and single, constitute a significant portion of the personnel, with nurses playing a critical role in HPS. Crucial risk factors include a genetic predisposition to hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, alongside lifestyle concerns such as inconsistent physical activity, dietary habits, and sleep patterns. Internal barriers, including lack of discipline and stress, alongside external obstacles like financial constraints and workload pressures, hinder engagement in HPS. The study establishes significant relationships between demographic attributes-age, sex, and educational attainment and metabolic risk factors, emphasizing their role in determining health behaviors. A proposed intervention plan outlines a multifaceted approach addressing education, workplace support, and behavioral modifications to enhance HPS. Strategies include wellness programs, nutrition guidance, structured exercise opportunities, stress management campaigns, and institutional policy improvements. These insights emphasize the need for targeted and sustainable interventions to improve health outcomes, resilience and productivity among hospital personnel in the Rinconada area. 0aHealth education. 2Rinconada a.rea aSalcedo, Maria Laarni M.eadviser. aRivera, Marilyn N.echair, panelist. aFucio, Modesto P.epanelist. aFajardo, Luzviminda A.epanelist. 2ddcn0cUMhD278hiMANkMTHm2025 00102ddc4070aCSPCbCSPCcGRDd2025-11-07l0oMTH MAN D278h 2025p006960UMr2025-11-07 09:13:49t1-1w2025-11-07yUM c30854d30854
