This quantitative study evaluated the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of 237 multigravida mothers in upland barangays of Tabaco City, Albay, regarding LARCs. Utilizing a descriptive correlational design, data were gathered through questionnaires and analyzed using percentage techniques, weighted means, and Chi-square tests of independence. The study found that most respondents were 45-49 years old, high school graduates, with 3-4 pregnancies and 3-4 living children. The majority were housekeepers with a monthly family income of Php 5,000.00 or less and were Roman Catholics. The mothers were generally knowledgeable about LARCS, recognizing their suitability for women who have had multiple pregnancies. Their attitudes were moderately positive, viewing LARCs as a responsible family planning option. LARC usage was common among these mothers, although moderate barriers were identified, particularly concerns about potential side effects. Significant factors influencing LARC knowledge and attitudes included the mother's occupation and family income, while LARC practices were significantly influenced by income and religion. However, the utilization of LARCs is not influenced by age, education, number of pregnancies, and number of living children. The study proposes a plan to improve LARC utilization among multigravida mothers in upland barangays of Tabaco City, Albay ER -
