An IoT-based attendance monitoring system electronically monitors and records student attendance, eliminating the need for manual pen and paper recording. The project outcome carries substantial implications for instructors, students, parents, and higher education institutions. Upon tapping their ID card into the RFID card reader, the student's name and the timestamp of their attendance will be shown. Each individual is provided with distinct accounts that can be utilized to access the system homepage (cspciotattendance.com). Concerning the scanning process, if the student ID is scanned a few minutes before the scheduled time, it will be considered present. Scanning is deemed belated if it occurs after the initial fifteen minutes of the designated timeframe. The tools and software utilized in this project comprise a Bootstrap 5 open-source framework and CodeIgniter4, a database server; MySQL, as well as the programming languages PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The system's performance in real-time attendance monitoring was evaluated for reliability and scanning speed.1 aLaquindanum, Yveth Ruth V.eauthor.1 aMediado, Shaira Ann D.eauthor.1 aMendez, Cleto LV I, C.eauthor.1 aSemeniano, Rudy Mark eauthor. aRomulo, Ruel R.eadviser. aIsaac, Victor Solito DR.echair, panelist. aMalapo, Vincent E.epanelist. aAbanil, Roner P.epanelist.
