The collaborative capstone project titled "LockMac: A Web-Based Management System for Mac Laboratory Integrating RFID" aims to modernize and secure the Mac laboratory management by addressing issues such as inefficient data entry, inaccurate attendance records, and security vulnerabilities. Developed using Extreme Programming (XP), an agile methodology emphasizing continuous feedback and iterative releases, the system was refined based on user feedback to meet the specific needs of the laboratory environment. A mixed-method research approach, combining surveys of 305 students, 6 faculty members, and interviews with 5 IT experts, provided valuable insights into system requirements and potential security risks. Extensive black-box testing, including system, acceptance, and security testing, confirmed the system's functionality, security, and scalability, with a perfect score of 1.00 for each testing in iteration 2, ensuring that all aspects of the system met the necessary criteria. The successful implementation of LockMac demonstrates its potential to improve laboratory management and security, offering a scalable model for other educational settings.1 aRefereza, Marylie L.eauthor. aBenitez, Ian P.eadviser. aRamizares, Maricris L.echair, panelist. aSerrano, Philip Alger M.epanelist. aCortez, Vincent B.epanelist. 2ddcn0cUMhC299liBSITkUTHm2024 00102ddc4070aCSPCbCSPCcUTHd2025-09-11l0oUTH BSIT C299l 2024p006847UMr2025-09-11 16:14:22t1-1w2025-09-11yUM c30498d30498
