These problems pertains to the vul-nerability of manual systems to unauthorized access and inaccuracy in attendance tracking, leading to security risks. The project aims to integrate fingerprint recognition and PIN-based access control to enhance security and automate attendance logging, reducing error and improving accuracy. The Biolock system was tested using black box testing. Functional testing results revealed an average score of 0.46 (Functional But Needs Improvements), usability testing scored 0.43 (Usable), and security testing achieved an average of 0.49 (Needs Security Improvements), indicating that while the system is operational, there are opportunities for enhancement in security and user experience. Despite these limitations, the results show that Biolock improves access control, ensures accurate attendance track-ing, and improves attendance system in IT Laboratory 2. In conclusion, the Biolock system provides a certain step toward modernizing campus security and attendance management, demonstrating the potential for further refinements to maximize its performance and relia-bility.1 aMartinez, Sheena T.eauthor.1 aMendoza, Noel Andrew D.eauthor.1 aObia, Angel F.eauthor. aFortuno, Kaela Marie N.eadviser. aBaluis, Ichelle F.echair, panelist. aSerrano, Philip Alger M.epanelist. aLimjoco, Mark Kenneth R.epanelist. 2ddcn0cUMhB175biBSITkUTHm2024 00102ddc4070aCSPCbCSPCcUTHd2025-09-11l0oUTH BSIT B175b 2024p006846UMr2025-09-11 15:42:29t1-1w2025-09-11yUM c30496d30496
