The Open Laboratory in the College of Computer Studies is set to grapple with secu-rity for important equipment as well as representation of data since it has the traditional lock-and-key system. Problems like keys left inside, key duplication, door opening by unauthorized people, and manual operations are both insecure and tend to slow down the processes. To this end, this study designed a logging and monitoring door lock system known as SecuredEntry that utilizes RFID technology and solenoid locks in improving the access control and security of the laboratory. The study used the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, which emphasizes iterative development and user collaboration. Unit Testing validated that each unit of the software works as intended and meets the require-ments. Security Testing evaluated protection against unauthorized access. Last, Stress Testing is dependent and has resilience under extreme circumstances requires the ability to conduct stress tests. The results show that Secured Entry is fully functional, achieving a performance rating of 1.00. Unit Testing confirmed the reliability of the module, and Stress Testing verified the stability of the workload without errors. Security Testing achieved a security rating of 0.91, ensuring robust protection. This system should also safeguard ac-cess to the laboratories, refine the method of checking attendance, and enrich the overall user experience.
