The proposal introduces a Non-Biodegradable Segregation Device for Household Wastes, employing sensors and automation to optimize waste collection and segregation. The exploration extends across the design, fabrication, and testing phases, providing comprehensive insights into the system's development. With the overarching goal of designing and implementing an automated Non-Biodegradable Segregation Device, the specific objectives include designing the device, fabricating its components, and testing its functionality in terms of accuracy and response time. The study includes comprehensive details, the design elements, block diagram, schematic diagram, flowchart, and casing design, accompanied by the outcomes of preliminary and final testing. Utilizing sensors, load cells, and a servo motor, the Non-Biodegradable Segregation Device efficiently identifies, measures, and segregates waste materials. The evaluation demonstrates the device's commendable accuracy in metal cans, plastic bottles, and glass bottles. The overall performance metrics, encompassing an accuracy of 95.45%, precision of 93.33% and recall of 93.33%, underscore the accuracy of the Non-Biodegradable Segregation Device for Household Wastes. The summary, conclusions, and recommendations encapsulate the study's comprehensive findings, high level of performance in segregating, with an overall accuracy rate of 95.45% and response time with overall average of 2.467 seconds and it is highly responsive.1 aLaniog, Joyce Mae O.eauthor.1 aOcampo, Patricia Philyn M.eauthor.1 aRocamora, Richelle Q.eauthor.1 aSalando, Erika Mae M.eauthor. aOares, Christopher T.eadviser. aTabal, Keith Marlon R.echair, panelist. aIsaac, Victor Solito DR.epanelist. aAbanil, Roner P.epanelist.
