Solar-powered irrigation systems (SPIS) are now widely used in agriculture. This study explored the idea of developing a controller for solar-powered irrigation systems to help optimize water usage in order to boost crop yields by automating the pump's on and off functions, allowing farmers to be updated on the pump's status via remote monitoring by employing GSM module. The device also has a feature that allows for automatic adjustment of the water level in accordance with the age of the rice crop, which could potentially be a helpful tool in current agricultural practices that use readily available resources. To give a more realistic method of monitoring the amount of water required by the rice crop, soil moisture sensors are used in the study as a new technique to keep track of the amount of water entering the field based on crop age. The controller for solar-powered irrigation systems was evaluated with a total percentage error of 10%, which was interpreted verbally as reliable. This result indicates that the device is capable of automatically irrigating rice fields.1 aBarandon, Mary Noilaine S.eauthor.1 aDimaiwat, Maria Ana P.eauthor.1 aEspiritu, Angelica E.eauthor.1 aHitosis, Marion L.eauthor. aPacer, Wenifredo L.eadviser. aIsaac, Victor Solito DR.echair, panelist. aAbanil, Roner P.epanelist. aMalapo, Vincent E.epanelist. 2ddcn0cUMhA319diBSECEkUTHm2024 00102ddc4070aCSPCbCSPCcUTHd2025-09-08l0oUTH BSECE A319d 2024p006814UMr2025-09-08 15:42:18t1-1w2025-09-08yUM c30420d30420
