The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) implements competency based standards and outcome based education for Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA). this competencies are crucial for the students for their future professionals roles and success within their field. This paper assessed the proficiency level of the BSOA students in critical thinking and administrative skills as well as the factors hindering the attainment of the students competency development, and the proposed enhancement program to fully develop their critical thinking and aministrative skills for their future professional roles. One hundred sixty-two (162) 3rd year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges-Buhi Campus, are chosen as the respondents of the study. The Descriptive Design was used to attain the objectives. The instrument used in this study was CHED sample performance indicator for BSOA and research-made survey questionnaire for data collection, and interpreted using frequency count, percentage technique and weighted mean. The findings revealed that majority of the 3rd year students are highly proficient in critical thinking and administrative skills, Specifically, in decision making based on logic, facts, and actively seek input from relevant parties when addressing professional issues. Based on the findings, it was recommend that students be persuade to enhance and develop their core competencies to maintain their great performance within the field. In addition the researchers designed an enhancement program for the development of the students competency to make them more prepared for their future professional roles.
