The study is aimed to understand the factors affecting the treatment of dialysis patients in selected dialysis centers in Rinconada. In this study, a cross-sectional survey design, targeting seventy-six (76) aged 21-80 years who are undergoing in dialysis treatment at three selected dialysis centers in Rinconada: Medical Mission Group Hospital, Our Lady of Mediatrix Hospital, and Santa Maria Josefa Foundation Hospital, through a structured questionnaire developed in this study with the help of random sampling technique. The research method is descriptive correlational the descriptive-correlational to gather data, analyze, conclude, and give recommendations for the problem. The results showed that the majority of the respondents are male, age 61-70 years old, married and have a college education. Financial constraints emerged as the most significant barrier to treatment compliance, followed by difficulties in managing daily responsibilities alongside treatment. Long wait times and lack of substantial funds further hindered consistent treatment access. Emotional well-being and quality of care were also identified as crucial factors influencing motivation to attend dialysis sessions. The average weighted mean of challenges faced by patients was 2.11, indicating a moderate impact on treatment adherence. Most of the categories within the respondents' profiles have no significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and factors affecting their treatment. The findings suggest that addressing emotional well-being and enhancing care quality are essential for improving treatment adherence. Furthermore, policy initiatives aimed at reducing financial burdens and integrating patient-centered support systems could mitigate these barriers. By understanding these factors, healthcare providers can develop strategies to enhance patient-centered care and treatment adherence, ultimately improving healthcare access and equity in resource-limited regions. This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge by emphasizing the importance of addressing both economic and emotional barriers in dialysis treatment.
